Week of March 25-29 (Up to Spring Break)
AT A GLANCE, Homework for the week:
  • Unit 6 Part 4 workbook pages due Tuesday, 3/27 (10 Homework points)
  • Word Wisdom U6P4 (30 word) posttest on Wedneday, 3/27 (30 Assessment points
HW:
  • OAA Prep Packet due the day after spring break--April 9th (must show support for each question)
  • Assign a copy of FAHRENHEIT 451 by Ray Bradbury before Monday, April 8th -- there will be a book check the day we return from Spring Break.

Monday, 3/25/13
  • Check/correct U6P4 word wisdom pages;
  • Optional (30-word) test offered Wednesday; students who choose not to take the test will be "excluded" and it will not help or hurt their grades.
  • Pass back (Board of Ed) Practice OAA 2005 Test (#3) with score sheets (Explain how to fill-in score sheet)
    • Receive Practice OAA test questions again.
    • Read first passage (“Lincoln & Whetstone”?) together as a class and check questions #1-8 (?)

HW:

  • OAA Prep Packet due the day after spring break--April 9th (must show support for each question)

Tuesday, 3/26/13
  • All Word Wisdom pages due--check/discuss correct answers.
  • Continue checking Practice OAA Test #3
    • Read 2nd passage (“Wheels of Wonder”?) and check #9-14
    • Read 3rd passage (“Albert”?) and check #15-24

    • Read “Shifting Sands” and check #39-44
